Open Positions in Council #1013


We are in need of volunteers to serve in the following positions.
Please contact Rae Schmid if you would like to serve or have questions about these opportunities:

Membership Director: Coordinates our new membership recruitment drives and degrees

"Power of Ten" Coordinator: Coordinates our "Power of Ten" program which is a mechanism for contacting all of our members to disseminate information and socialize.

Visiting Coordinator: Coordinates a regular visitation schedule for our brother Knights who are ill or infirmed at home or in nursing homes.

St. John's Maintenance Coordinator: Works with the St. John's maintenance staff to coordinate maintenance and remodeling projects at St. John's.

Yearbook Coordinator: Develops a "Council Scrapbook" displaying our efforts to be sent in for the State Competition in April. Works with Archivist and photographer to keep records of our efforts.

Council Archivist: Keeps a record of our council events. Works with the Photographer and Yearbook Coordinator to develop our yearly scrapbook.

Council Photographer: Photographs our council events and maintains a database of images. Works with the Archivist and Yearbook Coordinator to create a yearly scrapbook.

Cultural/Social Director: Keeps council informed of cultural or social events or opportunities that we could assist with.

Survivor's Assistance/Memorial Director: Contacts knight's family members to see if we can assist them in any way. Coordinates memorial's from the council.

Family of the Month/Year Director: Chairs a committee that researches and recommends a K of C Family of the Month/Year Award that recognizes members and their families.

"Keeping Christ in Christmas" Director: Coordinates our "Keeping Christ in Christmas" efforts each year.

Public Relations Director: Coordinates our public relations efforts. Works with the Photographer and Archivist.

Parish Round Table: Coordinates our Parish Round Table efforts with St. Bernard's in Stewartville.

Insurance Director: Coordinates with our Insurance Agent to promote K of C insurance products.
